How it stacks up, my honest take

The location is perfect with nearby attractions like the Botanical Gardens and Stabroek Market. The staff, especially the housekeeping team, were pretty good too ensure comfort. Clean rooms and beautifully kept grounds create a serene atmosphere.

the service was great throughout our stay. the breakfast was lovely, with a great selection of food options. location: the hotel was very close to cheddi jagan airport, the centre of the city and the attached' bottle bar.

poor quality

unwelcoming staff

I was horrified by the tap water quality, not to mention the irritated staff who clearly needed a smile. I thought i'd at least get a free upgrade for my troubles, but that woudl ve been too much to ask. Seriously, potatoes get treated better! Almost left a good review, but just couldn't 🤷‍♂️
